TWO KIDS ARE OVER 100 YEARS OLD, SAY BIRTH CERTIFICATE; COURT ORDERS ACTION!
Home > News Shots > IndiaIn a shocking and bizarre case, a Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly court ordered the city police to lodge a case against a village development officer and a village head who allegedly issued wrong birth documents to two children.
This act was done by them after the children's family refused to give them a bribe. Meanwhile, the two officers have been identified as village development officer is Sushil Chand Agnihotri and village head is Pravin Misra.
As per NDTV reports, the documents issued by the family had two-year-old Sanket's year of birth as June 13, 1916 instead of June 13, 2018 which makes him 102 years old. While Sanket's elder brother Shubh who is four years old, received a certificate where his birth date is mentioned as January 6, 1916 instead of January 6, 2016.
When the family refused to give bribe, the year of birth was wrongly mentioned to harass the family, NDTV further reported.
This shocking concern was taken up by Pawan Kumar of Bela village, who took up this matter to court alleging that birth certificates of his nephews Shubh and Sanket were issued with wrong years of birth.
After initial investigation, Station House Officer (SHO) Tejpal Singh said that Pawan had alleged that Sushil Chand Agnihotri and Pravin Misra had demanded Rs 500 for each birth certificate for which he had already applied online two months ago.
Further giving assurance over the matter, the SHO asserted that they have received a copy of the court order and action will be taken.
