MAN KILLS WIFE WITH DUMBBELL, THROWS DOG OFF 6TH FLOOR, JUMPS TO DEATH

A 60-year-old man killed his wife with dumbbell, killed their pet dog by throwing off 6th floor and jumped and committed suicide on Tuesday morning in Bangalore.

Police said that he runs a travel agency while his wife was a homemaker. They had no children. His brother's son, a law student, had been living with them. As usual, his nephew went to college at 9.30 am and the incident took place around 10.30 am, according to Bangalore Mirror.

The neighbours reported that they heard the couple quarreling before the incident took place. Police said that he hit her on the head with a dumbbell and she died on the spot. He then carried their labrador to the terrace on 6th floor and threw it to the ground and later jumped from there and committed suicide.

The police found a death note that read that one of them had advanced stage of cancer and they did not want to go through depression or suffer anymore. Though the police are unsure which one of them had cancer. They had sent the bodies to postmortem.
