THREE TRANSGENDERS SNATCH BAG FROM WOMAN, ESCAPE

Three transgenders snatched a woman of her bag and escaped in an autorickshaw in Chennai's Mylapore area. The incident took place in Monday (April 1).
According to the police, Revathi, the victim was walking on Luz Church Road when three transgenders happen to come across her way. They asked her for money but she denied it. So they advised her to close her eyes and offered to bless her.
As Revathi closed her eyes, the gang of transgenders snatched her bag and fled from that place. In a bid to help herself, Revathi screamed and tried getting hold of them but to no avail. They pushed her, ran across the road and fled in an moving autorickshaw.
Shocked and disheartened, Revathi lodged a complaint in the Mylapore police station. She also informed that she had Rs. 8,000 in her bag along with some personal documents.
Meanwhile, the police have registered a case in this matter. They have also launched a search for the suspect with the help of CCTV camera by tracking the registration number of the auto.
