Jyotiraditya, resigned from the party soon after he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi with former BJP party chief Amit Shah. Jyotiraditya's resignation came as a big shock to the party; soon after which 20 MLAs who support him tendered their resignation.
According to an India Today report, Scindia was displeased for not being elected CM and as Madhya Pradesh Congress chief as both the positions were given to Kamal Nath.
Hours after Jyotiraditya resigned from the post, his 24-year old son Mahanaryaman Scindia, took to social media saying that he is proud of his father for a taking a stand for himself.
Reports suggest that Scindia may join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today at around 6:00 pm.
