WOMAN PATIENT MOLESTED IN ICU AFTER DELIVERY BY WARD BOY!

A 50-year-old ward boy named Achuth Rao was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman patient while she was on a ventilator at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Hyderabad. The woman was put on ventilator following her critical condition during delivery.

The incident came to light after the woman got recovered and informed her parents about the same. A complaint was registered by her parents with Banjara police.

“We have received a complaint from the parents of a victim stating that their 30-year-old daughter was admitted to Century Hospital for delivery. After some complications arise, her condition became critical and the doctors kept the victim on a ventilator. And on August 26, the accused molested her while she was on a ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit,” Kalinga Rao, Circle Inspector, Banjara Hills Police Station was quoted as saying by Mirror Now News.

The accused has been booked under Section 354 (Assualt or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
