Weather reporting during flood or thunderstorm requires a lot of nerve as it might need a lot of endurance to tolerate the calamities and report in the unfavourable weather.
Fox10's reporter Matt Rodewald faced a life threatening situation where he was almost struck by a lightning when he was recording on camera for the news.
While recording in the streets of Phoenix, Arizona, where it was windy and rainy, a lightning hit the ground just behind him. Soon the power went off for a few minutes. Still he managed to finish filming.
"SCARY! Our reporter @Matt_Fox10 was getting ready for a live report on the monsoon storm last night when lightning suddenly struck nearby and knocked out power in the area. ⚡️😱 " tweeted Fox 10.
