CLASS 1 BOY BOOKED FOR ATTEMPTING TO RAPE CLASSMATE!

In a shocking incident, a class 1 boy from a Government school in Haryana’s Sirsa was booked for attempting to rape his classmate during break hours.
The incident came to light when the victim’s mother took her to Sirsa civil hospital after she returned home crying, complaining of stomachache.
The identity of the boy is yet to be ascertained as the victim told the police that she did not know his name but can recognize him by face. The unidentified accused has been booked under Section 6/18 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act based on a complaint from the victim’s mother.
“The police got a complaint from the mother of the victim , a resident of a nearby village. She said her daughter studies in class 1 and one of her classmates attempted to rape her in the in the school during the lunch break. Right now, the victim is under treatment at civil hospital soon the police will take her to the school for identification of the accused. Though, there is no provision of punishment under the law if a child is below seven years,” Sirsa DSP Rajesh Kumar was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
