The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has been dispelling a lot of rumours with respect to coronavirus, with the majority of them involving fast hacks to cure the virus, which needs the intervention of medicos.
The latest clarification from the Ministry is that pepper is not a cure. They took to Twitter and tweeted, "Adding pepper to your soup

As per the details stated on the Ministry's website, India has 24,162 active cases with 8,372 of them cured/discharged. While one person has migrated, 1,075 deaths have been recorded in the country.
The country is in total lockdown till May 3, which might be extended according to experts considering the nation is yet to control the curve.
Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu are among the worst-hit states.
