MEMBERS OF SAME FAMILY MARRY & DIVORCE EACH OTHER FOR 23 TIMES IN 1 MONTH!

In a bizarre incident, members of a family in China married and divorced each other for 23 times in 1 month.

According to reports, the family did the act as part of their plan to attain Government property.

China's property rules state that if a house is to be demolished for development, each member of the house would get 40 square-meter space from the new development.

When the accused named Pan's house was to get demolished, he remarried his wife to earn extra 40 square-metre of land. He then divorced his wife and married her sister to earn more space. This way, members of this family married and divorced each other 23 times in 1 month to acquire space.

The matter came to light when Government authorities discovered that the house was home to 13 people. The police have arrested 11 members in relation to the scam.
