movie was directed by veteran cinematographer P.C.Sriram.
The story was about the dangers faced by police officers
and Kamal played an encounter specialist. The screenplay
was tight with unexpected twists and
racy
filming. The movie had no song
sequence to make the movie very realistic. Kamal Hassan as
a cop suited the role perfectly. His performance in the climax
scene was really touching. No other person would have matched
the role perfectly as Kamal Hassan did. This movie was also
nominated for Oscars but was not selected.
