BEHINDWOODS GOLD MIC AWARDS: SPECIAL HIGHLIGHT MOMENTS

D. Imman recently captured our hearts and imagination when he announced that the composer might be collaborating with visually challenged vocalist Thirumoorthy soon. The singer's soulful rendition of the former's composition 'Kannana Kanne' went viral for the right reasons. In his speech, Imman, winner of the 'Behindwoods Gold Mic Icon of Inspiration: Melody' felt that he captured the nuances of that song brilliantly and he primarily chose to work with Thirumoorthy because of his gifted voice. Imman said that  "Even we must be visually challenged towards many differences in life, like caste, creed, religion, colour and language."

Imman opined that such talents can only grow further with people's support. In the end, Thirumoorthy crooned a gaana number that played out as a dedication to the music composer.
