BEHINDWOODS GOLD MEDAL AWARD FUNCTION HIGHLIGHT MOMENTS
Developed by : D Meera Chithirappaavai; Venkatkrishna; Avinash Pandian; Jyothsna;July 19th marked an important milestone in our journey as the 2nd edition of Behindwoods Gold Medals Event, was held at Hotel ITC Grand Chola, Chennai on this date. This star studded event witnessed many emotional, exciting and mesmerizing moments. Here are few highlights of this gala evening.
A special category labelled ‘K Balachander Gold Medal for excellence in Tamil cinema’ was launched this year in remembrance of Iyakkunar Sigaram KB sir. Who other than Kamal Haasan fits to be the first recipient of this most honored gold medal? The ultimate craftsman, the uber versatile and multifaceted Ulaganayagan Kamal received this medal from the hands of another stalwart like A.C.Thirulogachander.
