THE UNDERWATER SCENES
The trailer showcased Dhanush diving like a daredevil into the ocean bed with a spear in hand, ready for his fishing adventure. Bharathbala has explained in an interview that Maryan isn’t one who just tosses his fishing net into the ocean hoping for a good bounty. He directly dives into the deepest depths of the ocean and Dhanush had to be trained to overcome his fear of the ocean waters. The star pulled it off very well thanks to the guidance of experts and these scenes were filmed in Andaman.
