PANNAIYARUM PADMINIYUM MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (PP) directed by newcomer Arunkumar starring Vijay Sethupathi and Jayaprakash is hitting the screens this week and here is what Jayaprakash has to say about their film.
 

• PP is about the life of two people in a village – a Pannaiyar (Jayaprakash) and his driver (Vijay Sethupathi). It is also about the Pannaiyar’s love towards his wife, his car and his driver Murugesan.
   
• When was the last time you saw the romance of an elderly couple? Pannaiyarum Padminiyum talks in detail about a matured relationship. “Love grows with age” is what you will realize in PP.
   
• It is really stunning how a young director like Arun could handle relationship content with so much maturity. You will be amazed by the way he has defined the different manifestations of love.
   
• Arunkumar’s methods of handling the script and his views are very interesting and new
   
• The film is painted with innocence. You have got to enjoy it.
   
• The subtle humor sans any provocative content is a contributing factor for the feel good nature of the movie. And this is definitely worth every penny you pay.
   
• Vijay Sethupathi chooses his scripts right and delivers something very interesting every time.  
   
• Music composer, Justin Prabhakaran has rendered beautiful music and has also scored few one minute songs, which are spellbinding. He knows when to use the power of silence and has conveyed his perspective of love through his music. BG scores have to be watched out for in PP.
   

According to director Arunkumar, “I have made a simple film and the audience will go out of the theatres happy and satisfied.”
