TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

This year seems to have started on a rom-com note what with KLTA notching good moolah at the box office. Onbathula Guru is certified A and is likely to be an adult comedy directed by debut director PT Selvakumar.

Vinay Rai, who has been missing in action for some time now, will be seen in Onbathula Guru along with Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash and Lakshmi Rai performing lead roles. The comedy revolves around 5 guys who are on a road trip of sorts and delves into their life altering experiences durng the trip. 

Onbathula Guru is scored by K and captured in camera by Chellathurai. The film’s Vaa Machi Vaa has already caught on and is being aggressively promoted in television channels and FM stations. Satellite rights of the movie have been bagged by Sun picture recently. The movie is produced by Claps and Boos.

There are also talks that the movie is an unofficial remake of the Hollywood hit franchise Hangover. Powerstar Srinivasan, whose popularity is on the rise after KLTA, will be seen in the movie in a surprise cameo.
