Crime is often explored in cinema. Different levels of crime –street crime, organized crime etc. But, the psyche of those who are involved in crime for a living is seldom explored. Why did one become a criminal in the first place? Who is responsible? Does their life have place and time only for violence or are they capable of finer emotions? Yes, the violence might have appeared brutal but this film never allowed it to grow bigger than the script.
