In a year when spooking the audience
became a trend after a couple of
good horror flicks, here came another
film that had a ghost in it, but
surprisingly, it didn’t spook
or scare. Even more surprisingly,
it appeared that the makers did
not have an intention to scare.
It was a different kind of supernatural
thriller, no loud noises or shrieks,
no weird forms, only water and the
dangers that it holds. In spite
of being told at a pace that was
almost leisurely, the film never
lost its grip on its audience. The
blue hue camera was a new on screen
experience.
