There was a lot of hype when it was announced that this movie was an adventure thriller. It was GV Prakash again giving it a 'period' touch to the movie. The sleeve note included a contest form which asked the listener ‘which six of these ten songs are likely to feature in the film?’ it proved to be a tough choice. Unmela aasaithaan was sensational to say the least and so were the other songs in the movie.
