A very subtle and romantic song. The beauty of the song lies in its stillness. There has been no attempt to artificially induce feelings or energy into the song. The chemistry between the characters (that is just beginning to blossom at this point of time in the movie) is allowed to play on screen at an almost languid pace. But that does not make viewing boring or tedious. In fact, it is the understated nature that makes the song stand out. That it be a montage was inevitable because the heroine’s character is unable to speak, adding to the beauty of the romance and the song. Rain was captured extremely efficiently on camera, every drop looked clear, almost like a pearl – great shots.
