Vinay was a charming hero and the late Jeeva made sure all the girls drooled over his chocolate-boy looks in Unnale Unnale. After Unnale Unnale's success at the box office, he went to act in a Telugu movie which failed and returned to act in Jeyamkondan. Though it was critically acclaimed, Jeyamkondan was neither a big success nor did it earn a safe place for Vinay in Kollywood. He later acted in Modhi Vilayadu which again bombed at the box office. Eager for a successful movie, Vinay is currently acting in Nootrukku Nooru with Sneha as the heroine. Let us hope it gives him the much needed break.
