Manmadha Rasa is still a popular song among people and if there is someone who had an introduction in Kollywood through that song, it is Chaya Singh. Thiruda Thirudi was a big success. People said Chaya Singh has arrived! Did she? Neither did Amma Appa Chellam, Jaisurya, Vallamai Thaarayo and Anandhapurathu Veedu set the box office on fire nor did her item numbers in Arul and Thirupachi earn her a decent name. A good dancer and a good enough actor (as seen in Vallamai Thaarayo), she is just waiting for that one movie which can retain her old form.
