Ramana is one of Vijayakanth’s standout movies of the decade. It had none of the over the top aspects, but yet managed to excite and thrill us with its content. The Anti-Corruption Force, the brainchild of Ramana and its activities to eliminate corruption from the society captured our imagination. The philosophy that only fear of punishment will stop people from being corrupt made a lot of sense. The most interesting part however was the investigation carried out by Yuhi Sethu. It was an intelligent correlation of facts that ultimately led him to Ramana. Well planned and executed.
