Prashanth played double role for the first time as twin brothers in the trend setting romantic comedy Jeans directed by Shankar. The film had Aishwarya Rai as the female lead and she had a crackling chemistry with her ‘paati’ played by Lakshmi. The film was a super hit and was India’s official entry to the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language category. It was one of the films where the graphics was perfect and both the Prashanths were on screen simultaneously most of the time.
