The mass hero of all-time, MGR donned the roles of King Marthandan & Veerangan in the blockbuster film Nadodi Mannan that released in the year 1958. The film also starred Bhanumathi, Saroja Devi, MN Nambiar, MN Rajam and JP Chandrababu. The film was produced and directed by MGR himself and it was a super hit. The film re-released in 2005 and it ran successfully for 100 days proving how the legend of MGR lives on.
