Born as Dileep Kumar to RK Shekhar and Kasthuri, Rahman lost his father at a very young age and his family converted to Islam when his youngest sister was saved by their prayers at a mosque. Debuting in Roja, his path of glory and his humble nature is an example and inspiration to many of today's young talents.
