Music Director: Harris Jeyaraj

Talk of having a string of melodies in one album and this is the one that comes to your mind. Harris Jeyaraj was in top form again, making the movie a talking point well before it was released. The ‘Engeyum Kadhal’ number was easily the pick of the lot with Aalaap Raju doing some high quality rendition. The album was almost entirely soft and mellow, except for the thumping ‘Nangai’ number, made for some frenetic dance moves; which was expected in a Prabhu Deva film. All songs in Engeyum Kadhal were enjoyable, the problem being that each one reminded you of the other; there was not much setting each song apart. Even the picturization had a similar feel for many numbers!
