Vikram, he is perhaps the actor on whom a thug’s role sits best. We saw that in Gemini where he played what is the most jovial rowdy in recent memory. Laughing, cavorting and romancing is not something we associate much with a thug, but he did all that and still maintained his menacing posture when it came to the scenes that mattered. Bheema was another rough and tough goon character, but one wonders whether it was a bit over the top.
