Underworld, crime, thugs and goons have always fascinated cinema. Every leading actor that we know has done at least one memorable role of a thug or a high flying don. It is staple, almost as essential as a cop’s role in an actor’s resume. Here, we take a look at some of the best onscreen goons and thugs of Tamil cinema. Mind you, it is not the international dons or smugglers we are talking about, but the local rugged rowdy.
