Yuvan Shankar Raja
Prolific is what you would
want to say about him. He
has had a pretty ordinary
year going by his own high
hit delivering standards.
But even in a year of relatively
indifferent form he has managed
to do enough to keep us happy
and humming. While Vazhthukal
was mellow, Saroja had all
the elements of youth, Aegan
was peppy and cool, while
Silambattam was an irreverent
'party' special. Good variety,
but we missed a raw rural/folk
song in 2008, the kind that
we got in Paruthiveeran. |
