The story is about a brother who takes on the rowdies in the city, for making it a safer place for his Sister and her new born baby. The Brother and sister relationship has been told very differently. The way the brother-sister bond was shown might not be the best in Tamil cinema but the sentiments have been well packaged in certain scenes. Vijay as the brother and Malliga as the sister were very convincing. Though the film was devoid of any logic it was still a good entertainer.
