Music Directors

Where do our composers get those wonderful tunes from? They are truly gifted artistes, masters at their craft; people who breathe music. But all the tunes that they give us don not spout from the depths of their soul; most of them do. Our composers listen to a wide range of music from around the world and the human mind being easily influenced, we can feel traces of folk, western or other music in some Tamil songs. Some of them just have a familiar feel while others get us to think about the importance of having strong copyright laws in the country. Here are some songs that we thought have been inspired or maybe plain lifted from other songs. Some of you might have noticed these things yourselves. This is an article for the ignorant. Even if you think you know a thing or two still go ahead and read, you might find a few more examples to add to yours.

So lets see from where Rahmans, Jayarajs and Yuvan Shankar Rajas get inspired.
