With the release of half
a dozen potpourris of movies - many of them falling under
the much-anticipated category - the usually sluggish box
office during the start of the year has witnessed a multitude
of population thronging at the ticket counters. Although
the results weren’t quite impressive, Pongal releases
did manage to create a stir in the jittery January.
