The attempt to give strong messages has to be recognized and when the attempt is so whole hearted that elements such as songs that are considered inevitable to Tamil cinema are totally done away with, the conviction of the maker has to be saluted. Though not a big hit, Evano Oruvan is a bold attempt that deserves attention.
