He
is the poster boy of Tamil cinema. He is also
the controversy king. He called himself Superstar
(little) at a time when no one else dared to.
His verbal attacks through his films at persons
whom he does not like are (in)famous. But all
this is nothing compared to what he has managed
to create now. His famous love affair with Nayanthara
and the more famous break up followed by the
release of some intimate photographs (Nayanthara
thinks that Simbu is behind this) have taken
the film world by storm. Simbu never had a good
boy image, but this has made things worse for
this young actor.
But then cinema is not all about those who make
controversies their best friends. It is also
about those who have kept themselves away from
all of this in spite of having a successful
career in movies. This is a genuine appreciation
of their ability to stay out of trouble.
