Maniratnam’s assistant Azagar Perumal, chose this to be his first film and he did not disappoint. Jyothika and Madhavan’s on screen chemistry was well appreciated. A village story sans violence is indeed a rarity, and Director came out with flying colors. The movie was very light and entertaining.
