Though not new to playing dad roles, Vijayakumar managed to put a smile across one’s lips by playing Jothika’s inadvertently innocent father. Donning an out and out rustic character, Vijayakumar wreaks havoc onscreen when he unconsciously throws the two ever-quarreling characters (Vijay and Jothika) together making the movie even hilarious.
