Kamal stalls Uttama Villain for Sigaram Thodu audio launch - Event Story

Fresh from Arima Nambi's success, Vikram Prabhu is all set to scale heights with UTV Motion Pictures produced Sigaram Thodu, directed by Thoonganagaram fame Gaurav. With D. Imman composing the songs, there is a chartbuster already ready. 

 

 

The must-watch part of such audio lunch functions are the well-known personalities, famous for their witty speeches on and about the film. Vikram Prabhu in a petite semi formal blazer and the newcomer Monal Gajjar, playing the heroine of the film at her best choice of color, it was one gala event. Director Gaurav formally introduced his cast and crew to the crowd with thunderous applause for the ideal hero of the day, music director D. Imman. Lyricists Karky and Gana Bala exhibited their gratitude with Bala going to the extent of performing the whole song in his unusual voice. Sivakarthikeyan - "I am nobody to get on stage and talk about this film, but Vikram Prabhu is a dear friend of mine I regularly communicate with him. Whenever I go down, he somehow makes it a point to call me and give me the right encouragement. We are all there Sivakarthikeyan, don't worry. Those words make my day"

 

Vijay Sethupathi - "Vikram Prabhu, you have already reached there. Sigaram Thodu will be another height for you. I loved the trailer. All the best for you and the entire team"

 

K.J Yesudas - The living legend has rendered a song for the film that is on the father-son relationship. "I believe, just like the rice you eat has your name written in it, the songs that you sing are also meant for you and decided by god long time back". Imman is a brilliant composer. I am so glad to have sung this song. wishes to the team"

 

Sathyaraj - "I play a cop dad in this film. Starting from Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupadu (KKK) I've been playing police officer roles. It was Kamal sir who saw a hero in me and made an authentic police story, KKK, for the first time. Coming to the producers, UTV Motion Pictures had a huge agreement for me to be duly signed. There were a list of ordinances that had to be signed stating, if the actor fails to be a good actor or if his/her voice is not decent enough to be dubbed there will be last minute changes made. I have been in the industry for 36 years and I have never come across such properly planned constructs for film shooting. On a funny note, just by using Thagudu Thagudu dialogue I'm what I'm now, dare not change my voice even if it's bad during the dubbing. I got the chance to act for the very first time by doing the Parasakthi dilalogue. Please make necessary changes to actors like us when you make agreements.

 

My brother Prabhu has been a little tight with Vikram Prabhu. After Ivan Vera Mathiri, I made a call to him and told, Vikram Prabhu has done a splendid job. Prabhu said, Vikram Prabhu's dance could have been better. Now you all saw the song visuals. Prabhu ? Care to appreciate your son now ? During Kumki I said, Vikram Prabhu, next Parasakthi is ready. Coming to the captain of the ship, Gaurav has the knack of handling equipment and being a task master. I was floored by Virumaandi's shot progressions. After Kamal sir, I can say, Gaurav is the best in the trade when it comes to technicalities. I wish this film all success"
