Mahendran, Ilayaraja all set to begin - Event Story

Director J Mahendran and Ilayaraja are two greatest names in the film industry that have created magic and held the audience in their spell for quite a long time. The duo is back for a film that would be produced by Saravanan for Triton Creative Pictures for whom this will be the maiden production venture.
 

In a press meet scheduled to update about the film, J Mahendran and Ilayaraja met the press briefly and divulged some information regarding their project. 

The meet began by observing a two minute silence for the recently departed soul of Balu Mahendra. 
 

Mahendran disclosed that he along with Ilayaraja and the late Balu Mahendra were actually discussing this story and it is unfortunate that the Moondram Pirai director is no more amongst us today. He also said that Ilayaraja was the one who gave his film Udhiri Pookkal the title and for this film also, the same trend is expected to continue. It was also said that the film will be based on a story of eminent writer Pudumai Pithan. 

Sanjay Loganathan who is the son of cinematographer Loganathan would be helming the camera and Kasi Viswanthan would be handling the editing department. The duo was introduced to the press. Cast and crew of the film and the title will be announced very soon.

The film has already created quite a huge buzz, thanks to the director and music composer. Please stay tuned for more updates.
