"THIS IS NOT A SUCCESS MEET"

The success press meet of Devi happened on the 12th of October at Prasad Labs, Chennai. The event was attended by celebrities like RJ Balaji, Director Vijay and lead Prabhu Deva.

Auraa Cinemas head Mahesh on talking about the success of the film said, " Inspite of the intense competition, there was a demand to increase the screen Devi in 75 more screens."

Comedy actor RJ Balaji who addressed the audience said, " From Idhu Enna Mayam director Vijay and me have been good friends. I'm really happy that the film has succeeded because this happened at a time when he going through a turmoil". He also joked " This is not a success meet. Don't mind the banner. There is a spelling mistake in that. This is just a thank you meet."

Director AL Vijay quipped, " This film is important to his career. I thank RJ Balaji for being my close friend. RJ Balaji is bound to scale to high peaks in few years. We won in the space we got and I thank my entire team for that."

The lead actor Prabhu Deva who was the last to speak said, " I was back to Kollywood as an actor . But I was really tensed since this was acting and not directing. I was especially tensed when I entered the theatres because I was anxious about the response. But thank you all for the positive response."
