Allu Arjun’s Tamil debut is undoubtedly the talk of the town today. It is all about his collaboration with Lingusamy under the production house Studio Green. The event was organized at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai today on 22nd of September and was attended by actor Siva Kumar, director Lingusamy, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish and others.

Producer K.E.Gnanavel Raja began the event with a welcome note thanking Sivakumar for making his presence and he also called him to the stage to light the kuthuvilakku.

When the producer spoke, he said this movie would be on the lines of Paruthiveeran and also a perfect launch pad for Allu Arjun in Tamil industry. He also said that the movie would go on floors by end of February 2017.

Director Lingusamy revealed that Sandakozhi was supposed to be done by Allu Arjun. He also said that the Arya actor is a known face all over TN. He added that even in rural TN, people knew Bunny (Allu Arjun) as a great dancer.

Sivakumar said that Tamil and Telugu Industry had always shared a great rapport. He added, “People have always celebrated old Telugu movies like Devadoss and also great Telugu actors like N.T.Ramarao”.  The Sindhu Bairavi actor called Allu Arjun a powerful and a beautiful star. He also said if Allu Arjun was there in TN during 60s he couldn’t have got into the industry as Allu Arjun would have got all the roles.

Allu Arjun amidst the huge flashes of camera lights started his speech in Tamil with “Ellarukum Vanakkam”. He also said, “I am going to speak in Tamil since I’m here in my own town. I was here in Chennai for almost 20 years. I always wanted act in Tamil movies but I was looking for a story which would bridge the gap between Tamil and Telugu industry when finally this script of Lingusamy did it.  Lingu sir is a popular director in Tollywood and I am excited to work with him.  I can’t recreate Paruthiveeran as it is a total magic. I’d still try doing my best”. He finished up his speech with “Enna Dhaan Veliyoorla Jeyichaalum, Sondha Oorla Jeyikira Kickeh Thani”.


K.E.Gnanavel Raja thanked all the guests for making it to the event.He also requested the press and media to do their best for this movie since it’s a debut of a young actor.
