Amala Paul and Aishwarya Dhanush were honored among others at the JFW Women Achievers Awards, 2012. Amala Paul got the rising sensation award and Aishwarya Dhanush got the newsmaker of the year award. Living legend, P Susheela was also honored for her tremendous achievements.

Andrea and Suchitra Karthik sang for the audience and there were performances by Sneha, Anjali, Sana Khan, and Neetu Chandra. The event was well attended with celebs like Jayam Ravi, Prasanna, Kushboo, Suresh Gopi, Srikanth, director Rajesh, Sonia Agarwal and Ganesh Venkatraman.
