There is hardly anybody who has not supported the Jallikattu issue and director Shankar who appeared to have been awed by the spirit of the youngsters took to his social media page to appreciate them.

He said, “‪I am at marina supporting #jallikattu. what a spirit! what a discipline! we need this unity for lot of changes. salute to the real heros‬”.

It has to be noted that director Shankar had always advocated social uprising through his films and his vigilante movies are known for its social responsibility and awakening.
