TRAGIC: YOUNG STUNT MAN DIES IN SHOOTING SPOT OF AN UPCOMING MOVIE - DEETS!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsIn an unfortunate incident that happened on Monday (August 9), a young stuntman was electrocuted on the sets of the upcoming Kannada film - Love You Rachu. The incident happened during shooting of the film at Jogenahalli near Bidadi, on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
Stuntman Vivek was part of an action sequence that involved the use of a crane and ropes. Reportedly, Vivek’s wire rope came in contact with a high-tension electric wire on the sets that led to his immediate death.
Another stuntman was also seriously injured in the freak accident and he is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Soon after the incident took place, the team rushed Vivek to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
According to reports, the police have detained director Shankar S Raj, producer Guru Deshpande and action choreographer Vinod for questioning in connection with the freak incident.
