OFFICIAL: YOGI BABU TURNS THE LEAD ACTOR - CHECK OUT THE TITLE AND FIRST LOOK

We had earlier reported that Yogi Babu will be playing the lead role in director Sam Anton's next film, and the official announcement on the same, has been made.
 

Sivakarthikeyan launched the first look of this project through his official Twitter space. This comedy entertainer has been titled 'Gurkha', featuring Yogi Babu and a dog playing the lead roles. SK tweeted, "Happy to launch the first look of #Gurkha 😊My Wishes to the lead actor @iYogiBabu ..Very happy for him😊Best wishes to @4monkeysStudio my dear friends @AntonyLRuben @dancersatz @dhilipaction Dir @samanton21 and full team😊👍"

Going by the first look poster's design, it looks like Yogi Babu plays the role of a security guard, working outside a big shopping mall. 

Gurkha is bankrolled by four friends together, editor Ruben, choreographer and dancer Sathish Krishnan, stunt director Dhilip Subbarayan, and the director himself, Sam Anton.

Scheduled to release for 2019 Summer, the film has music by Raj Aryan, cinematography by Krishnan Vasant and editing by Ruben.
