The fan base he has been acquiring over the years have time and again proved their solidarity with the actor if at all he jumps into politics. Vijay was briefly involved in the same few years before.
Since then, Thalapathians have been eagerly looking forward to the time when Vijay would make his political entry. Now, a new strong buzz has captured K-town - that Vijay is all set to enter politics and he had registered his Makkal Iyakkam as a political party today.
But when we enquired with close sources, it had been exclusively learnt that it is indeed true that the party name has been registered, but the truth in gossip mills are far from that - "'It is true that we registered the party name. We did this in recognition of the Vijay's Makkal Iyakkam which was started in 1993. This does not mean that we are coming to politics tomorrow".
