According to the post-mortem reports, the actress’ death had been zeroed in as suicide and her husband Hemnath, whom she is said to have married two months ago, has been arrested on grounds for alleged abetment to suicide of the actress.
It was recently reported that the RDO investigation into the suicide of the late actress has ruled out dowry and said some other reason could have been behind the star’s unfortunate step.
The latest news is that Chitra's mother has given a letter at Tamil Nadu’s CM cell demanding CBCID enquiry in her daughter’s death case. We need to wait and know if CBCID will take over the case now!
