Directed by Ram Kumar, the film went on to garner overwhelming reviews both by the audiences as well as the critics for its edge-of-the-seat way of narration and superb performances by the cast of the film.
Now, an elated director has made a happy announcement regarding the movie bagging the first spot again. Taking to his Twitter handle and sharing two pics as proof, director Ram Kumar tweeted, “#RATSASAN has been ranked as the #1 Tamil film in @IMDb. Further, it has been ranked #3 in all Time Top Indian Movies.” Woah, well-deserved, right?
The film has impressed several that it is now being remade in Bollywood where Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen pulling off “Arun Kumar’s” role effortlessly. Vishnu Vishal had officially revealed earlier that he has acquired the Hindi remake rights of the film from producer Dilli Babu of Axess Film Factory.
