Thalapathy 63 is Vijay's next film after AR Murugadoss' political drama Sarkar, that had Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. This film has Nayanthara as the leading lady while Reba Monica John, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Vivekh, Yogi Babu, Anand Raj and others appear in crucial supporting roles.
The latest update on the star actor's next film, Thalapathy 64 is that it will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame. Maanagaram had Sri, Sundeep Kishan, and Regina Cassandra playing the lead roles, and it was one of the most critically acclaimed films of 2017.
Vijay's Thalapathy 63 shoot is progressing at a good pace, and the team had shot continuously for 70 days. It is directed by Atlee and produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment.
