Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures released for Diwali earlier this year and was a massive success as the box office.
The film has now crossed 50 days run at the theatre. While this was a normal feat a decade ago, nowadays films struggle to complete 50 days at the screens. Since Sarkar has achieved this, we know how much people have liked and accepted the film.
After Sarkar, Vijay is working on his next film with Atlee, tentatively titled Thalapathy 63. It also has music by AR Rahman and Nayanthara plays the female lead. On the technical front, GK Vishnu of Mersal fame is the cinematographer.
