Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsOne of 2020’s most anticipated movies is Vijay’s Master, where he will be locking horns with Vijay Sethupathi. The movie was scheduled to release this summer, until COVID19 played spoilsport.
Meanwhile, there were speculations that ‘Master’ will have a direct OTT release. However, the makers denied all rumours and have stated that ‘Master’ will be definitely having a theatrical release first.
As per earlier reports, it was expected that the movie might be released this Diwali, considering the fact that a big festival release would be the next best choice, although an official announcement from the producers regarding the same was not made.
Sources close to us have now revealed that the makers are likely planning for a grand theatrical release next Pongal, in 2021. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.
‘Master’ also stars Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu, Arjun Das and Andrea playing crucial roles, with music by Anirudh. The movie is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Watch this space for more updates.
